HOW BURNSHIELD WORKS

Burnshield takes advantage of the soothing and antimicrobial properties of all natural tea-tree oil and combines it with a perfectly viscous hydrogel to cool the wound and protect from infection. Combined with the Burnshield's sterile dressings, Burnshield hydrogel impregnated dressings are the ideal first aid treatment for all types of burns. 

A cotton vest dressing soaked in a sterile gel, supplied in a foil pouch. The Sterile BurnVest will ensure the following:   

  • Ease of application – by sliding the arms through the open sleeve area.
  • Pain relief and halting of the burn process due to the cooling action of Burnshield gel and heat dissipation.
  • Cotton base material- allows for flexibility, no rough material to hurt the patient and gel retention.
  • Reduced number of nurses attending the patient.
  • Impregnated with the successful and stable Burnshield Burngel.

How to Apply:

  • Open the sterile package.
  • Remove Cotton Dressing from package.
  • Apply Cotton Dressing by sliding the arms through the open sleeve area.
  • Secure Dressing at the back.
